Right now (well this was yesterday) I am sitting at my layover in the Chicago airport. This airport and I usually are not friends, I've lost luggage, missed flights due to frozen aircrafts, forgotten makeup bags and left my cell phone as well! But today I am really in heaven as I sit "alone" catching up on people magazine and reading 50 shades of Grey...
As most of you know I travel a lot and usually my babes are with me! This work {hair extension} trip to Seattle ,although there are layovers and long flights, I am enjoying my time by my self so far... Of course I miss my babies and husband but some time alone and Being forced to sit and read isn't ever bad. :)
To start my trip off I lost my drivers license... I know I know how does one do that? An almost 28 year old for that matter? The funny thing is, I was just complaining how my poor passport had been collecting dust and I needed to use it.. thank goodness I have one!!!
These are a few pics of my sillies, Noah wearing my Hunter boots and Luke doing upward facing dog, his new random pose.

Chicago for Memorial weekend day 1
For Memorial weekend we took a little road trip to one of my favorite cities
Chicago
I of course took a million pictures so the trip will have to be divided into a few different posts!! The first day we got there we spent the day walking on the Navy Pier, riding the rides on the pier, and then checking out Millennium Park.. Aka where the awesome giant orb is...
This is us standing in line to get on the Ferris Wheel...
Someone was excited!!
Ok as much as I am not afraid of heights, I am afraid when my kids are up high.. Luke fought Alex the whole time being up there, he wanted to look over the edge and I was having anxiety attacks the whole time.... but what a beautiful view!!
Noah's first ride alone!! He was laughing and squealing the whole time!! It was soooo cute!!
Noah was the one in the middle!
The Hotel room with an awesome view of the navy pier!
Making wishes with pennies!
Millenium Park
Where's Waldo? Or Lacy..
This Orb is just so much fun, we spent so much time wandering around it!!

Strawberry Picking
I always hear about strawberry picking and this year we finally went! Let me just tell you what a great time we had, Luke and Noah LOVED it!! (As did I) The only hard part was trying to get Luke from eating the berries! Michigan has THE BEST produce ever, and I am really going to miss how beautiful it is here... *Quick tear*........
We were lucky enough to even have Alex tag along, now that he is in his 3rd year of Law School he seems to have a "little" bit of free time for us.. (In between all of his studying, moot court, and the public law clinics he's involved in)
What we made for a after dinner snack!! My favorite,
Strawberry Shortcake!
