weekend randomness and a new challenge

I was thinking I needed to do another challenge of some sort, I was talking to one of my besties Terrah and she suggested to do a food challenge, with spring coming I thought if would be a good idea to share some of my healthy eats and treats...

Seriously Wednesday.. day 12,13,14,15

Why is everything funny when you add a mustache? We were playing with these Staches and were laughing our tails off!! 

Guys what a crazy week I just had.... Between the holiday and a long drive I am pooped.. I really love this time of year, but it also means Alex has finals.. booo and finals mean I never see him, but that also means another semester checked off the list... I need to be more of a glass half full kinda girl.... 

I have a confession I think am totally going to be a scrooge this year and not put up a tree, I know I know but because we are headed west on Dec.15 - Jan. 4 and we were out of town Thanksgiving weekend 

(thats when I usually put it up) ... I can just blog about Christmas delights I find on Pinterest and 

dream...

I am done with my outfit challenge.. I can't believe it.. I must say that the days I actually get ready and put on a cute outfit I am more likely to take the kids somewhere fun, go on more walks, get housework done, overall just had more energy.... I think I will try and keep it up.. But I wont take pics unless i learn to pose cute one day!!!

I ruined these tan boots in New York, I am sad I have had them for 3 years and have been awesome, Alex swears I wrecked them with  gum on purpose because I have been wanting some new ones!! ps I still have one more New York post left!! 

Thankful and day 11

Right now we are headed to New York for Thanksgiving... I am so excited to see my friend Reagan and her hubs and her precious little sweet Piper Jane!! While sitting in the car driving through Ohio,  listening to both boys cry, I thought I had some time to reflect on some things that I am thankful for...
-a car with a DVD player
-heated seats
-wonderful husband who drives so I can sleep
-a direct flight from Grand Rapids to Las Vegas
-my family
- the lds church and our eternal beliefs
-2 happy, wonderful baby boys
-only a little over a year left of Law School
- my ability to run my business from home
-my friends
-my fake uggs from Costco
-to be in this amazing country
-my little brother Shay {who is in Iraq} and all of the other soldiers that fight for our freedom

Seriously... and day 10

• Noah started dumping out all of the water out of the bathtub, when I asked him what he was doing he said he was getting all of the "BUM" out of the tub. {I tell him he can't drink the water because there is bum in it.}
• There was a spider on the floor and you would have thought that Noah was getting stabbed with the way he was screaming.. He still doesn't dare go into the kitchen... woops my fear of spiders has been passed down to my BOY!! 
• Noah said that he didn't want his friends to come to his birthday party {Saturday} because they would eat all of his spiderman cake.. Smart man... 
• I taught my sister how to Skype and she really thinks that "this future stuff is so cool" her Noah and I talked for hours... So funny! Noah has been saying all night "I want to watch the Aunt Seps show again, please Mommy" 
• I forgot how hard it is to get ready everyday and on top of that to take pictures of myself.. I promise the ball pictures were a joke... 
• Luke knows how to work the xbox and the i-pad.. 
• and I seriously have the hottest Husband...

Lucas Norman, day 5-6

I can't believe my little angel face baby #2 (pretty long nick name eh?) is 10 Months old.

I couldn't ask for a sweeter, happier baby! He has been such a joy to us and gets more and more

fun by the day.

What he is doing

-Chewing on everything as his two front teeth are almost out
-dancing like its 1999 when he hears music
-stretches his one arm and finger out towards daddy like he is that Michelangelo painting
-still smiles more than anyone on the planet {ask everyone}
-walks while holding our hands
-wont eat with a spoon
-steals Noah's sippy and all of his toys
-loves riding his little bike
-loves looking out the window with Daphne

 So I still have another 9 days to go, I should have just done a week challenge... My sweat pants have never looked better... I haven't worn Jean Jeans in forev... Two days in a row

It has been so cold and rainy here in Michigan the last few days, as of now I am absolutely LOVIN' the cold-ness... I love scarf weather!!

Anthropologie graced us with their loveliness here in Grand Rapids, my friends and I have been so excited to have some better shopping here!!! yes I picked up a few items that I probably shouldn't have, Christmas came early...

Hubs made me som yummy German pancakes for breakfast! And have you ever had

So easy
Pop some corn
melt -5 cubes of Almond bark or vanilla flavored chocolate
dump it over your popcorn and you have a yummy yummy snack!!

Day two and still going strong...

So I made it to day two... I am so impressed with myself, what I am not impressed with is my lack of posing abilities I feel like a freak, but oh well..
