Seriously

Right now (well this was yesterday) I am sitting at my layover in the Chicago airport. This airport and I usually are not friends, I've lost luggage, missed flights due to frozen aircrafts, forgotten makeup bags and left my cell phone as well! But today I am really in heaven as I sit "alone" catching up on people magazine and reading 50 shades of Grey...
As most of you know I travel a lot and usually my babes are with me! This work {hair extension} trip to Seattle ,although there are layovers and long flights, I am enjoying my time by my self so far... Of course I miss my babies and husband but some time alone and Being forced to sit and read isn't ever bad. :)

To start my trip off I lost my drivers license... I know I know how does one do that? An almost 28 year old for that matter? The funny thing is, I was just complaining how my poor passport had been collecting dust and I needed to use it.. thank goodness I have one!!!

I do believe the warm weather has taken over my blogging.. All of my Easter pictures and my last Utah/Vegas trip haven't even been uploaded. I need to get on it.. But lets do some seriously moments..
Feel free to share some of yours from the week So I know I am not the only crazy one..

• Noah found someone's "weave/hair extension track/weft on the ground. Noah- "Mom someone lost their hair extensions, should you put them back in for them?" First of all I'm not sure any other 3 year old would even know what that was.. I got a pretty big kick out of that one!
• My friend Emily and I were watching the Bachelor (pathetic I know) last night.. I heard a crash in the boys room, followed by whimpering, and then a little knocking on their door. It was LUKE the little 17 month old stinker has learned how to climb out of his crib... There is no way I am getting him a toddler bed. So I am thinking of getting one of those tent things thoughts? 
• Noah has been sleeping in Lu Lu's crib to help him go to sleep.. (I am sure that by watching Noah is how he now knows how)
• We have a moving date (Well the boys and I) August 18th we are headed to Utah, until further notice! Bittersweet.
• My post baby hairs are so bad, real bad... At least my bald spots are feeling in, but after I go to the gym I am a hot mess.
• I learned to use the egg beaters to shred chicken.. My life as we know it has begun.. Do it. it must work for roast beef and pork too, if meat tickles your fancy like it does mine!

So here we are at the airport getting ready to board the plane!!! I really say this every time, but his time I mean it. I really can't take these trips anymore it is so hard on me and the kids. The 60 year old lady in the seat behind me was yelling at Noah for giggling at his iPad movie, the flight didn't have any milk to purchase for Luke or juice for that matter.
The worst part though was that someone stole our iPad. Ugh that iPad is the main reason we can take as many trips as we do. :(
When we landed at 9:30 Vegas time which is 12:30 am east coast time one of my suitcases wasn't there... Grrrr any ways so sorry that this was a complaining seriously post but wtf right? At least we are here in Utah now I have had a wonderful time seeing my friends and family!! I am getting so excited for Alex to finish law school so we can be back out this way!!! Hooray!

Hey

So it's that time to talk about some seriously moments... There were many seriously sweet little ones this week!! 

-So Noah sounds like he is a Brit, but he has a new accent, a southern "Abilene" one he walks around saying. "You is kiiiind, you is smaaaart, you is important.
-Mad Men? Do you love? I do, and Luke has the "Draping" down (See below)
-Noah came walking into my room with tape over his mouth.. He said that he wanted to leave it there forever... Ha Ha I have no objections to that idea little man!! 

-Luke dances on tables.. 

- We went to the "Butterfly Exhibit" at the Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, Noah was terrified after the butterflies were landing on him... by terrified I mean he was screaming bloody murder and everyone starred.. am I a bad Mom that I kind of had a giggle?

-Michigan is playing a little trick on us, it has been in the 70's-80's a few days this week.. I have loved it and I know we will have a cold spell again before summer, I hate to complain about the weather, but I AM NOT a cold weather person. I need sunshine and lots of it... I have been so happy and energetic the last few days I can't even believe it! 

-I have been peaking in on Luke and Noah playing, Noah is so unbelievably sweet to his little brother... It is so fun watching them communicate...

-I went to Sephora and seriously walked out with the one and only thing that I needed... That has never happened to me and it probably wont again... 

-So call me crazy, but I hate when someone sees my baby for the first time and says "oh the poor kid, where is all of his hair?" um really do you want me to answer that?! Ugh I find it so annoying and I might have to say something rude back.. I know they mean no harm but I guess it's the momma bear coming out. Why not say awe look at that cute smile and huge dimples next time ok?

-Noah- "mom Lu Lu keeps blessing". Me- blessing? Noah- yes he keeps making the noise and I tell him bless you. Me- oh he's sneezing. Ha ha cuteness, we should call it "blessing" always!!

 I swear life gets crazier as the days go by, does anyone else feel like that? This last week has been tough, but you can't help but laugh after the day is over {or in my case cry sometimes}

• Noah's new favorite saying is "Mom you are so weird today" I guess better than him saying damn and sh*t
• He told me for the first time that he loves Daddy and not Mommy ... tears
• I left for 5 seconds and Luke had eaten his weight in dog food.
• Noah creeps into our bed at night and he snores just as loud as his papa which = no sleep
• I finally found the reason for the stench in the boys room, a sippy cup of milk was inbetween the liner of their toy box... It was the worst smell ever and got all over their stuffed animals, which I just ended up throwing out.
• I finally shaved my legs per request of Alex, poor Alex
• Luke wont say Mom, but he says Alyex
• Luke found his shadow and it is sooo funny watching him chase it! 
• I am starting spring cleaning before the producer of "Hoarders" calls.
• Right after Noah starts to feel better Luke has a double ear infection, but at least when these babes are sick I get extra snuggles from them..

CAR TROUBLES

1- My little Luke has a problem, its gross so sorry in advance

He sticks his finger down his throat to make himself throw up, and it happened in the car yesterday, there is nothing worse than carseat + throwup.

2- Speaking of cars, my road rage needs to come to an end, may or may not have told some

jerk to get off my tail and called him an "A hole" so Noah has been waling around the house 

telling people to get off of his tail A hole. ( but the real word) wonderful

3- While driving to Church on Sunday morning we were in a crazy snow storm, we tried to stop at the intersection and slid right through it. So scary, luckily no cars were coming through in the other direction. We turned around and headed home however....

Guys.. seriously

Hey all... I hope you had a wonderful holiday season!! I had such a great time being out west and seeing my family and friends! The only problem is my Mom doesn't have WI-FI which means no blogging and her computer is as fast as a turtle crossing the street soooo I had a blogging Vacay, which means I have sooo much catching up to do! Here are some of the things we were up to! 

1. Flew to Las Vegas (Alone) Alex couldn't come until 3 days later finals.. 
2. Drove to Utah (Cedar City)
3. Family Christmas party
4. Had my little brothers Missionary farewell (watch out Texas) 
5. My other little brother got home from Iraq!! yay
6. Did Some Hair Extensions.. 
7. Went to a "Friend" Christmas Cookie exchange party 
8. Helped my Mom make a yummy Christmas dinner (some awesome recipe posts)
9. Drove to Salt Lake City to stay with my sister and see Alex's family in Utah
10. Did some more hair Extensions and a little shopping
11. Drove back to Cedar Did some more hair
12. Went to Vegas Worked at Aria hotel on the Las Vegas Strip like old times
13. Had fun with friends on New Years
14. Did a family Christmas party in Vegas
15. Drove to Southern Cali to see my cute Gramps
16. saw two very dear BFF's in Cali, Terrah (Met her new baby)
17. got super sick and missed half the day with Mickey
18. and Allie who is a makeup artist and hairstylist at Disneyland
19. Tried unsuccessfully to beat the Disneyland crowd but still worth it.
20. Drove back to Vegas, did some more hair 
21. Got one hour of sleep and then headed to the airport to come back to Grand Rapids Michigan...  

So there you have it!! I have at least 20 posts I need to do to be caught up.... Even past Christmas ones... sorry

Seriously Wednesday.. day 12,13,14,15

Why is everything funny when you add a mustache? We were playing with these Staches and were laughing our tails off!! 

Guys what a crazy week I just had.... Between the holiday and a long drive I am pooped.. I really love this time of year, but it also means Alex has finals.. booo and finals mean I never see him, but that also means another semester checked off the list... I need to be more of a glass half full kinda girl.... 

I have a confession I think am totally going to be a scrooge this year and not put up a tree, I know I know but because we are headed west on Dec.15 - Jan. 4 and we were out of town Thanksgiving weekend 

(thats when I usually put it up) ... I can just blog about Christmas delights I find on Pinterest and 

dream...

I am done with my outfit challenge.. I can't believe it.. I must say that the days I actually get ready and put on a cute outfit I am more likely to take the kids somewhere fun, go on more walks, get housework done, overall just had more energy.... I think I will try and keep it up.. But I wont take pics unless i learn to pose cute one day!!!

I ruined these tan boots in New York, I am sad I have had them for 3 years and have been awesome, Alex swears I wrecked them with  gum on purpose because I have been wanting some new ones!! ps I still have one more New York post left!!
